Alumni Meeting

The Pharmacy Services Department Alumni Meeting Event of Muş Alparslan University was held online via Zoom on 09.02.2026, with the participation of alumni students who are external stakeholders of the department. The meeting aimed to provide information about the ongoing activities carried out by the Pharmacy Services Department and to enable an exchange of ideas.

At the opening of the meeting, alumni stated that there is a highly productive integration within the Pharmacy Services Department and emphasized that the department offers an active and high-quality education process, particularly supported by a successful academic staff. In the first part of the meeting, where the achievements and advantages of the department were shared, alumni highlighted that the Pharmacy Services Department makes a difference through the quality of its education and academic staff, as well as its laboratory facilities.

It was emphasized that improving the quality of pharmacy services, evaluating teaching processes, and strengthening relationships with alumni are crucial for enhancing cooperation between students and the professional sector. It was also decided that online meetings with alumni would be included in the action plan for each academic term.

In the final part of the meeting, external stakeholders were asked which courses they believe should be included in the Pharmacy Services Department curriculum. Consultations were held on the curriculum, course contents, and course hours, and alumni opinions were obtained. There was a consensus that the newly implemented 2024 curriculum contributes positively to students’ post-graduation professional development.

Additionally, current educational objectives and program learning outcomes were discussed, and improvements to the existing Bologna processes were planned based on the suggestions and recommendations received from participants. It was stated that internship practices and applied courses must definitely be included in the curriculum.

At the end of the meeting, all participants were thanked, and the meeting was concluded.
